How To Start Your Volusion Free Trial
Whether it’s your first time trying an online store solution or you want to migrate from another, Volusion lets you start a free trial to try out their service.
You can start your Volusion 14-day free trial in just a couple of steps.
1. Click on “Start For Free” button
To begin the sign up process, click on the aquamarine “Start for Free” button anywhere on the site.
This takes you to the sign up page where you will give the information requested that is necessary to create your account.
2. Fill out the form
Directly from the first step, you’ll see this page which has the form you’ll need to fill out to create your account.
It also has some info on what you can expect from Volusion when you start your free trial.
You’ll:
- fill in your first and last name
- add your email address
- select your country from the dropdown (United States is auto selected)
- choose your annual business revenue
- enter your company name
- choose the industry your company works in
- add your phone number
- add your website if you have one
Click on the “Start My Free Trial” button to begin and you’ll be taken to the dashboard to manage your online store.
3. Start managing your store
That’s it. You’re all signed up and can start managing your store and exploring Volusion’s features.
You’ll see a notice at the bottom of your screen telling you how much time you have left in your free trial as well as the option to purchase a plan.

How Much Does Volusion Cost?
Volusion’s has three standard plans based on your needs and one custom plan based on gross merchandise volume per year.
Plans start at $35/month for the Personal plan, $79/month for the Professional plan and $299/month for the Business plan. If you pay annually instead, there is a 10% discount on each plan.
The plan you pick depends on how much volume your store does annually. For example, if you’re doing less than $50K then you’ll go with the personal plan. More than $400K means you’ll need the Prime plan which has custom pricing.
