Starting Your Uuki Free Trial
It’s fast and easy to sign up for Uuki’s 14-day free trial. There are only a couple of steps, and you’ll be on your way to building your own thriving community.
Clicking the “Get Started” button on the Uuki website brings you to the signup form. However, clicking on any of the free trial buttons on the pricing page will take you to a login form. You can click on the signup link where it asks if you “don’t have an account?”
Here are the steps that follow.
1. Fill in the signup form
The signup form asks for your email address, full name, and secure password. You’re also required to prove that you’re human by solving the captcha puzzle.
Once you click on the “sign up” button, you will be asked to verify the email address that you used during signup.
Go to your email and click on the link in the message from Uuki.
2. Start building your community
You’ll be sent directly to your Uuki account after clicking on the link in the verification email.
That’s it. Simple and fast signup process so that you can go build a community with the same speed.
What You Get On the Uuki Free Trial
On a Uuki free trial, you get access to all of the core features available through the platform.
In the dashboard under “Your Plan”, you may see that your plan is actually very limited allowing for only 1 community, 1 moderator and 1 space, and only 100 MB of storage.
However, it seems like this isn’t the case until after your free trial runs out. You’ll most likely be placed on a free plan with these limitations unless you upgrade to a paid plan.
The core features of Uuki include:

Uuki Pricing After The Free Trial
Uuki does not require a credit card to get started with the free trial. You can take the free trial without any worry that you’ll be charged when your trial expires.
For that reason, you may not be aware of Uuki’s pricing until you’re ready to actually subscribe.
There are three plans which start at an inexpensive $19/month. This Starter plan has all the core Uuki community features but there are limitations on certain features which would require an upgrade as your business scales.
The Starter Plan is the entry plan at $19/month or $15/month billed annually. On this plan, you get unlimited members but only one admin, one moderator, and ten spaces in your community.
You can offer paid memberships on all plans including the Starter Plan and there are transaction fees to be able to do that. The Starter Plan has the highest transaction fees of the three plans – 8%.
You can upgrade to lower your fees or increase your allowances.
The Pro Plan is the mid-tier plan which costs $79/month or $65/month billed annually. On this plan, you get everything from the Starter Plan plus some advanced features like API access and CSS customization.
In terms of allowances, you can have 3 admins, 10 moderators, and 20 spaces, and your transaction fees are lowered to 5%.
The last plan is the Advance Plan. This plan jumps to $259/month or $205/month if you pay the yearly fee. You get everything in Pro plus a dedicated manager, priority support plus email white labeling, and white label apps.
There are more resources in this plan which is to be expected. 10 admins, up to 100 moderators, and 100 spaces are available on this plan and transaction fees drop to 1%.
Uuki pricing is very affordable compared to what other platforms charge. For the features you get, this is very fair pricing that scales as your community grows.
Should You Use Uuki for Your Community?
Uuki lacks some features such as native video, but it does have a decent set of core features. These features are enough to build a vibrant community based on connections through discussion, events, live chat, and gamification.
Although Uuki has a course space where you can build courses, it is very basic and not very user-friendly. It renders well but it’s still not the best if you want to make courses a core part of your community-building strategy.
There are much better alternatives such as Mighty Networks and Circle that do have native video and better course builders. However, for the entry price, if you’re not too concerned about native video or a full-featured course builder, Uuki may be the community platform you’re looking for.
