If you’re looking for a Disney Plus free trial, you may be able to get one but it’s not as straightforward as signing up for a Disney Plus account.

For a couple of months after Disney+ launched, they offered a free trial to build their customer-base. They later announced that they wouldn’t be offering it anymore and removed all free trials. New subscribers would have to sign up for a paid account which starts at $7.99/month.

But if you keep reading this post, I’m going to show you some workarounds to getting Disney+ for free. Well, kinda.

Disney+ is currently one of the top premium streaming websites right alongside Netflix. They’re the home to brands like Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, classic Disney stuff and National Geographic content.

If you want to enjoy shows like Marvel’s Hawkeye or the Star War’s series The Mandalorian then you’ll need Disney+ as these shows aren’t aired anywhere else.

There are a couple of ways in which you can get Disney Plus for free in 2024. However, you may not be able to take advantage of these unless you actually qualify. Read about it below.

Get 6 Months of Disney+ With Verizon Unlimited Plans

There are a couple of places you might expect to get Disney+ as an addon.

  • Hulu – get a Disney bundle (Hulu, Disney+ & ESPN+, but no free trial)
  • Amazon Channels – does not offer Disney+
  • YouTube TV – does not offer Disney+

You can sign up for Disney+ with services like Roku and Xfinity but again, no free trial.

Verizon customers though, can get up to 6 months of free Disney+. You’ll need to choose one of their unlimited plans and you must take the offer before November 17th, 2024.

Where I’m from, there’s a similar deal where you can switch your internet provider from Flow to Digicel and get complimentary Disney+. They didn’t say for how long so I assume that it’s for as long as I stay subscribed to their internet service.

With the Verizon deal, you’ll get free access to Disney+ Premium which is the service with no ads. Of course, the downside is that you’ll have to pay for a mobile plan but it may be worth it if you either plan to sign up to Verizon for mobile phone service or you already have a Verizon plan and want Disney+.

Other Ways to Get Free Disney+

It seems that a lot of internet service and mobile phone service providers are giving away free Disney+ of varying lengths worldwide.

So depending on where you’re located, even though Disney has removed all of their free trials, you can still get Disney+ for free after you’ve signed up for internet service or mobile phone service.

Here are some active deals which can work depending on your location.

  • UK customers can get up to 6 months free Disney+ with their O2 plan. Just check Disney+ as an extra while signing up or upgrading.
  • UK customers can also sign up for an annual membership of Uber One and get 12 months of free Disney+. This promotion ends November 30, 2024 or after 100,000 redeems. See terms here.

How Much is Disney+ After The Trial?

This Disney Plus free trial which runs for 6 months will save you a total of $47.94 as you’d normally pay $7.99/month for a subscription.

When the trial ends, you’ll automatically start getting billed for $7.99/month unless you cancel.

You can access the streaming service on your favorite device whether it’s a mobile device with iOS or Android, a Roku TV, a smart TV or gaming console like the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

What’s On Disney Plus?

If you’re looking for a Disney Plus free trial then you probably already know what you’re missing?

Maybe you want to see one of the Marvel TV series like Loki, WandaVision or The Falcon & the Winter Soldier.

Or you’re probably a Star Wars fan and would like to catch The Mandalorian spinoff series. Not to mention that all the Star Wars movies are streaming on this platform.

Disney Plus also has all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies streaming as well as classic Disney features, shows and animated movies from Pixar.

There’s a lot of content and stuff you won’t find streaming anywhere else so having a Disney+ subscription is absolutely worth it whether it’s a free trial or a paid one.
